Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026.
L’Élanographe takes a deliberately limited approach to personal data. This policy explains what information may be collected through the website and how it is used.
Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is:
L’Élanographe
Association governed by the French Law of 1 July 1901
Registered office: 83 rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 – Paris
Email: contact@elanographe.com.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or write by email, L’Élanographe may receive:
- your name or chosen form of identification;
- your email address;
- the content of your message;
- any information you choose to include.
This information is used only to receive, understand and respond to your message, and where relevant to continue the exchange or consider a proposed collaboration.
The legal basis for this processing is L’Élanographe’s legitimate interest in receiving and responding to enquiries. Where a message concerns a possible agreement or collaboration, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into that agreement.
Please avoid including sensitive or confidential personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
Newsletter
If a newsletter is offered, your email address is collected only when you choose to subscribe.
Newsletter registration is separate from the contact form. Writing to L’Élanographe does not automatically subscribe you to any mailing list.
You may unsubscribe at any time through the link included in each message or by writing to contact@elanographe.com.
Newsletter subscriptions are processed on the basis of your consent.
Interactive instruments
Unless otherwise indicated beside a particular instrument, the lines, positions and routes created while using the website remain in your browser and are not transmitted to or retained by L’Élanographe.
If an instrument is later designed to collect or share contributions, information specific to that use will be provided before any material is transmitted.
How long is information kept?
Ordinary contact messages are kept only for the time needed to respond and follow the exchange, and are generally deleted within 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
Information connected with an ongoing collaboration, agreement, payment or legal obligation may be retained for the time required to manage that relationship and comply with applicable law.
Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. A minimal record may be kept where necessary to ensure that no further messages are sent.
Who may receive the information?
Personal data is accessible only to the people who need it to answer messages, manage communications or maintain the website.
Limited information may also be processed by technical providers used for:
- website hosting;
- email delivery;
- newsletter management, if applicable;
- website maintenance and security.
These providers process information according to their respective roles and contractual data-protection obligations.
The website is hosted by Hostinger, 61 Lordou Vironos Street, Larnaca 6023, Cyprus.
Cookies and technical storage
The website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
It may use technical storage that is strictly necessary for the website’s operation, security or the functioning of an interactive instrument. Such storage is not used to profile visitors or serve personalised advertising.
L’Élanographe does not currently use Google Analytics.
If non-essential analytics or other tracking technologies are introduced in the future, they will be explained here and, where required, activated only after the visitor has made a clear choice.
External media and links
Some pages may link to or embed media hosted by third-party services, such as Vimeo.
Where possible, external media is activated only after you choose to view it. Once activated, the provider may receive technical information such as your IP address or browser data. Its own privacy policy will then apply.
International transfers
Some technical providers may process or allow access to information from outside the European Economic Area.
Where this occurs, L’Élanographe will rely on an applicable legal safeguard and will update this policy to identify the relevant service and protection.
Your rights
Depending on the processing concerned, you may request:
- access to your personal data;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of your data;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests;
- portability where applicable;
- withdrawal of consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to: contact@elanographe.com.
Additional information may be requested only where reasonably necessary to confirm your identity.
You may also submit a complaint to the French data protection authority:
Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés — CNIL: www.cnil.fr.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised when the website, its tools or its uses change. The date of the latest update will appear at the top of the page.
