Path

Where orientation begins.
A direction begins in contact with lines already drawn.
A path never begins from nowhere. It begins among habits, roles, expectations, urgencies and inherited maps. Elsewhere may first appear as a tension or a pull: the sense that another direction could exist.
This is where your path can begin. This could be your Point 0.
TRY THIS. Draw the lines already shaping the situation. Let them cross, drift, clash, overlap or wander.

Towards a desired horizon.
Horizon. The line I follow into the unknown, always calling me forward as it keeps receding.
Even without a fixed destination, something can draw us elsewhere.
Orientation begins in this tension: between where we are (the so-called Point 0), the forces already acting upon us, and a desired but not yet known direction. The horizon does not mark an endpoint. It gives distance, direction and intensity to what may begin to move.
L’Élanographe calls this search for orientation towards a desired yet undetermined horizon:
horizodesie
HOW TO PLAY. Draw the horizon that pulls the line elsewhere. Let it remain intuitive, shifting, partial or contradictory.
It’s there
HELP. In constrained situations, other directions can emerge through disorientation, detours and shifts in perspective. If it helps, place your lines through a Deictic Cartography. Use it as a prompt, a marker or a temporary coordinate.
